1. Self-Limiting (PTC)
Automatically reduces output as temperature rises, can be overlapped without overheating, cut to any length, flexible installation. Ideal for pipe freeze protection, short runs, fire lines.
2. Constant Wattage
Constant power per meter, uniform along long distances, ideal for process temperature maintenance, large diameter pipes, tanks requiring precise control and long runs.
3. How to Choose
Short lines + freeze protection: self-limiting. Long lines + precise control: constant wattage. High temp/corrosion/hazardous: MI cable. They can be combined: constant wattage for main line, self-limiting for branches.
