Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which voltage should I use?
220 V single phase is the most common for industrial heat tracing. 380 V three phase is used for long circuits and large projects. 24 V and 12 V are used where electrical safety or a portable supply is required.
2. What limits the circuit length?
The voltage drop along the cable. Low voltage circuits are much shorter. We calculate the maximum circuit length for each cable type and voltage and show it on the layout drawing.
3. Can a 380 V cable be used on a 220 V supply?
No. The cable is designed for a specific voltage; using it on a lower voltage reduces output and on a higher voltage destroys it.
4. Do you provide the circuit layout?
Yes, together with the bill of materials and the junction box positions.
